Middle Age Crisis

Updated: Feb 9, 2020

So, you’re at the middle age mark. Me too! Many of us at this time of our lives are taking a step back and questioning our worth, our goals, our career, where we’re at in life and wondering if this is it or is there more. Should I have chosen a new career? Am I living my purpose? Should I purchase the red sports car? Should I have spent more time with my family then focusing on my career? Have I been a good parent?

This is normal and a common thought pattern many have as we approach our proverbial halfway mark. Were in question because we've entered our second half. We jokingly refer to this as our “Mid-Life Crisis”. Luckily, the name has changed and is now often referred to as “midlife transition” according to WebMD. Much more politically correct and easier to swallow. Either way we say it, were in question and need help!

When we step back and take inventory, often times there are things in the past that we wish we’d done differently. We understand that we held to beliefs and behaviors in our life that we now want to change. It may come up for us in a thought “I want to change who I am” or “I want to change how I show up in the world” or “I want to do things differently than I did before”, “I want to be a better mother/father, husband/wife, coworker… the list goes on.

I can personally relate. I took this step back at age 46 and had these exact thoughts. I sat down and asked myself, “what am I passionate about?”

What came up for me we’re three essential things:

1. Helping People – changing people’s lives (nothing more rewarding)

2. Personal Wellbeing - physical, mental & spiritual wellness

3. Owning My Own Business

It was from these three essential things that I built my company. It’s combining a

passion that was already existing and operating in my life with things that I absolutely love to do. I want help you discover what’s essential for your second half.

Whether that’s rediscovering who you are, clarifying your values or increasing your physical activity, I want to help you change your mindset and get on track to dream again and live a fulfilling life.
